Industries & Cloud Base
Why are there an industry standard?
Is it easy to follow the rules and regulation for industry standard, therefore if everything sticks to the same rules and regulations then they will be no confusing on what is right or wrong. Also if something happens it can be dealt with appropriately. Having the right protection for your work will be easier as you will know what type of protection to have, and the rules for the protection. It also helps to reduce market risks reduces the cost for consumers.
There are helpful, and easy to understand, for example, if you were making a script, as all the script are standard, you don't have to take the time to think about how to make a script as the layout and format are already sorted out, and reckoned throughout the industry. therefore it ensures that the product performs the function manufactured for and set the recognised level of quality. So it increases productivity and enhances efficiency.
It's benefits to professional as you can easier identify pieces of work because they will know what type of document or production is being produced, as it will be an industry standard. Having industry standard means that the protocols and standard are universally understood and adopted, so if you in a different country there most likely have the same standard.
By following the standard you can not have the freedom to explore different things, for this reason, you lose the creative element in your work. It sometimes reduces productivity by forcing unnecessary actions, so not allowing you to do certain things.
Having industries Standard is important so that they is no confusing on what you're allowed to do, and if certain documents have to look a certain way. this makes it easier for people from different countries to understand people work and know what they are doing.
Overall I think it helps to reduce costs, increase productivity, ensuring safety and reducing unnecessary variety, minimising waste. which keeps the quality of work. But you loss some of your craetivity and freedom in your work, as you have to follow the rules.
What is cloud base solution?
Definition: Is an Internet Base computing. Networks, which have no physical, present that store information and data. (not tied to a specific computer). Which can be used in demand to access, software, data and documents. This means you can download your files to any computer or laptop and edit your work with other people at the same time, outside the workplace.
Benefits of using a cloud base solution are usability, as you can access your documents at any time from any computer or laptop you have. for this reason, it makes it quicker and easier to use via an internet connection, when you are not at home. This also allows you to create folders and drag and drop files between cloud storage and their local storage.
Normally cloud base is free to use for a certain amount of storage, which is convenient for some people who doesn't want to pay money, therefore it is cost efficient for business and companies. Also, you can avoid sending emails to individuals and send a web link to people through your email.
It can be used for an emergency backup plan so that it ready for an emergency, in case you lose your work or need a second copy, as in may hold important files.
Companies and business don't have to keep updating their software, which would make the business run quicker and smoother, as there no hardware needed. If you have no internet connection, you have no access to your data unless you have already downloaded the files. it may not give you a lot of data security as if you lose or send your files to someone who is not suppose to have it they can access your documents or easily change them. If you want to be able to manipulate your files locally through multiple devices, you’ll need to download the service on all devices.
The cloud base may not give your access to all the software without an additional cost, or you may only have it for a limited time. if the cloud base fails you might lose all your work, or not be able to save the work that you just have done. If the cloud is under repair or has a virus you will not be able to access your work until its fix.
Overall I think that uses a cloud base solution have lots of advantages but you still have to be careful, as if you don't have a clear understanding of it, or know how to use it properly, you could possibly lose your work easily.
